Space Jam: A New Legacy Isn't Good

Picture is not mine. This picture belongs to Warner Bros. Studios and is used without their permission (please do not sue me).

Recently, I had just watched Space Jam: A New Legacy. And to be honest, it doesn't reach up to my expectations

Now, this movie, Space Jam: A New Legacy, is noticeably way different than its predecessor, Space Jam (1996). Instead of Tune World being located underneath a golf course, it's now located inside Warner Bros. Studios' servers. That meant more Warner Bros. franchises being involved, right? Correct. Unfortunately, that factor doesn't make the movie any better. Why? It makes the movie a bit inconsistent with the movie's predecessor, despite Space Jam 2 making references to the events of the first movie such as the appearance of the Monstars and Michael Jordan starring in the first Space Jam.

What makes this movie bad is that it's not even funny, let alone Looney, since the movie focuses too much on cameos and how hard it tries to be like Ready Player One (which was a great movie, by the way). Not only that but there were barely even funny jokes for the Tune Squad, unlike in the first movie.

I also didn't like how Wile Coyote, who now has a voice in the recent Looney Tunes cartoons, still doesn't talk in this movie.

In short, this movie is a dumpster heap of CGI, unfunny jokes, and unnecessary cameos. I hate this mediocrity of a movie. My rating? A 4 out of 10 for not living up to the magic of 1996's Space Jam. JJ out. -JJ
